Red Cross
Blood Service MPC

Marcus Lyon headed up a team to develop a proposal for the Red Cross Blood Service to develop an existing 1920’s disused factory on the edge of the Melbourne CBD into a state of the art blood processing centre made up of 8,000 m2 of laboratory space and approximately 9,000 m2 of office and warehouse space. The existing structure provided an excellent thermal mass and facilitated a very stable thermal environment which is critical in the manufacturing processes undertaken within the facility.
